Repiping Services in Tampa

Friendly & Professional Technicians Delivering Top-Quality Work

If you are experiencing problems with the plumbing in your Hillsborough County home, the thought of replacing all your pipes is a daunting one. You can’t even see the maze of pipes running behind your walls and underneath your floors, much less figure out what it might take to replace a network of hard-to-reach pipes. But when it comes to repiping your home, whether it’s in Tampa, Brandon, Plant City, or anywhere throughout Hillsborough County, trust Grable Plumbing. Since 1984, we’ve been providing top-notch plumbing services to homeowners and business owners in our community, and we are experts at repiping in Tampa and beyond.

Repiping your home can be a troubling process, though. For example, how long will the water be off? When will you be able to wash clothes, do the dishes, or take a shower again? Don’t let the thought of repiping your home make you exasperated. Our courteous, highly skilled technicians can perform a repiping job that only requires us to turn the water off at the last moment, in order to switch over to the new pipes. In fact, 80 percent of our pipe replacement work is done in the attic in most cases – you won’t even know we’re there!

When you choose Grable Plumbing to perform a repiping, you’ll receive:

  • The use of CPVC in your new pipe system, the quietest, most durable piping on the market
  • The latest in innovative repiping technology, like our high-tech ultrasonic leak detection that can identify even the tiniest of pinhole leaks
  • Prompt, courteous service from our highly skilled, clean-cut technicians
  • A 10-year warranty on the material and workmanship in your new pipe system

What Causes Pinhole Leaks?

Some of Hillsborough County’s water has a corrosive effect on copper water pipes. This results in tiny pinholes to form along the pipe wall. Often, those leaks can be located and repaired with the aid of ultrasonic leak detection. If your home has had several pinhole leaks, it may be time to replace the entire water pipe system. This procedure is known as a “re-pipe”.

Copper vs CPVC

Let’s face it, copper pipe is not a wise choice for the replacement pipe. It deteriorates over time, leaking dangerous copper oxide and solder into the drinking water.

For that reason, Grable Plumbing uses CPVC pipe for its outstanding durability and its non-reactivity to our aggressive water. As a side benefit, CPVC doesn’t form condensation and is one of the quietest pipes on the market.

Ten-Year Guarantee

Our re-pipes are backed with a full ten-year warranty on the material and workmanship. And of course, your complete satisfaction.
